Let                      a_n=frac{171}{11}rightarrow a + (n-1)d=frac{171}{11}

rightarrow                       1+(n-1)left ( frac{10}{11} right )=frac{171}{11}rightarrow (n-1)left ( frac{10}{11} right )=frac{171}{11}-1

rightarrow                        (n-1)left ( frac{10}{11} right )=frac{160}{11}rightarrow n-1=frac{160}{11}times frac{11}{10}=16

rightarrow                                               n = 17

Thus, the 17th term is frac{171}{11}
