(i) Consider

$\frac{3}{10}...\frac{2}{5}$

Converting them to like fractions, we get

$\frac{3\times1}{10\times 1}=\frac{2\times2}{5\times 2}\Rightarrow\frac{3}{10}..^<..\frac{4}{10}$

(ii) Consider

$\frac{7}{5}...\frac{11}{9}$

Converting them like fractions, we get

$\frac{7\times 9}{5\times 9}=\frac{11\times 5}{9\times 5}\Rightarrow\frac{63}{45}..^>..\frac{55}{45}$
