Consider $\frac{4}{9}+\frac{7}{9}+\frac{x}{9}=2\frac{1}{9}$

Now,, $\frac{4}{9}+\frac{7}{9}=\frac{11}{9}$

and $2\frac{1}{9}=\frac{19}{9}$

$\therefore \frac{x}{9}=\frac{19}{9}-\frac{11}{9}$

$=\frac{8}{9}\therefore x=8$
