Since diagonal AC bisects the angles A and C.

therefore : : : : : : : : : : angle BAC=angle DAC : : and angle BCA = angle DCA

In triangles ABC and ADC, we have

                         angle BAC=angle DAC                                                                              [Given]

                       angle BAC=angle DCA                                                                                [Given]

and,                      AC=AC                                                                                    [common]

So, by ASA congruence criterion, we have

                       Delta BAC cong Delta DAC
