To find the missing numeral in Addition we try all the combinations to reach the desired result
For example let us solve the question
The sum 3 can be formed by the following combinations
we know that
1+ 2= 3
2+1 = 3
The figure below shows the combination 1+ 2= 3
There is 1 stick for the first digit 1 and 2 sticks for the second digit 2
Adding the sticks together we get 3 sticks.
Hence the missing number in this case are 1 and 2
Similarly we can show the combination 2+ 1= 3
In that case the missing numbers will be 2 and 1
