Predecessor of Numbers

We are already familiar with the concept of before , after and in between.

Predecessor of a Number:

A number which is just before the given number is the predecessor of that number, and it found by subtracting 1 from the number.

For example

The predecessor of 872 is 871.

Because when we subtract 1 from 872 we get 872 -1 = 871

Similarly

Predecessor of 248 is 247

Because when we subtract 1 from 248 we get 248 -1 = 247
