Deserts : Deserts are areas that receive very little rain fall annual rain fall is less than 25 cm . Deserts are usually very ht during daytime and very cold at night. They get very little rainfall. As rainfall is less therefore little water available in the deserts. A large number of plants and animals survive in deserts. The animals like camel, rattlesnake and antelopes etc. are found in these regions. Animals have different systems to cope up with such harsh climate. For example : Camel have special type of water storage system in there body. It help them to survive during the period of non availability of water. Plants found in these regions are Cactus, Opuntia and Joshua Tree.
