Biotic and Abiotic Components

Natural environment: Land, water, air, plants and animals comprise the natural environment. The natural environment consists of the physical environment and the biological environment. The three major components of the physical environment are the atmosphere, the lithosphere and the hydrosphere. They are the abiotic or non-living components of the natural environment.

NATURAL ENVIRONMENT - The environment which consists of all the objects created by nature such as land, air, water , plants and animals  are called as natural environment . It refers to both Biotic and Abiotic components existing on the Earth.

So now What is Biotic and Abiotic Component ?

Biotic components: It refers to all those living things in the ecosystem .For example: plants, animal, human beings, etc.

Abiotic components: It refers to all those non- living things in the ecosystem. For example: land, soil, mountain, hills etc.
