Identifying Hypotenuse In A Right Triangle

In a right triangle the side which is opposite to the right angle is the hypotenuse. This side is not involved in making the right angle. For example in triangle  ABC the side opposite to right angle will be the hypotenuse and is not involved in defining the right angle. The right angle is B so the hypotenuse is AC and it is not involved in defining the angle B.
