Types Of Vegetation: The relief and climatic factors develops different types of vegetation. Based on the major forest types, India has following types of vegetation.
1. Tropical Evergreen Forests
2. Tropical Deciduous Forests
3. Tropical Thorn Foresa and Scrubs
4. Montane Forest
5. Mangrove Forest
According to India State cf Forest Report (SFP) 2015 the forest cover in india is 21 34% which was 21.05% in the year 2011. The state having the highest forest cover area is Mizoram (88.93%) whereas the state having the lowest forest cover area is Punjab (3.52%) according to the report. Delh has 12.73% area undor forest cover
