Pressure inside a Liquid and its Variation

PRESSURE INSIDE A LIQUID AND ITS VARIATION:

As we go deeper beneath the surface of a liquid , the pressure increases. Pressure increases with depth. Deep under the sea the pressure exerted by water is much greater than at the sea level. The pressure experienced by deep-sea divers is so great that they have to wear specially designed suits to protect themselves. They use special suits called diving suits.

Dams are made stronger and thicker at the bottom than at the top to withstand the high pressures at greater depths.
