Database Languages

Database Language is a special type of programming language used to define and manipulate a database. Database languages are commonly divided into Data Definition Language (DDL), Data Control Language (DCL), Data Manipulation Language (DML), and Transaction Control Language (TCL).

There are various types of database languages

1. Data Definition Language (DDL) It is used to define structure of your tables and other objects in database. In DBMS, it is used to specify a database schema as a set of definitions.
