Plains And Related Landforms

Plains and Related Land forms:  A plain is an area of level or gently undulating land usually near to sea level or a few hundred metres above it. Plains are one of the most important land forms because they are the home of the bulk of the world's population. Most of the fertile soils are located on plains and they are both extensively and inensively cultivated. Plains are basically the product of denudation and because of this, they are examined in relation to the water cycle.
