Ramakrishna Mission

  • Swami Ramakrishna Paramahamsa (1834-1886) was a priest of the Kali Mata Temple at Dakshinesws (Bengal) He attempted to achieve religious liberation renunciation and devotion. through traditional methods of contemplation.
  • Ramakrishna, who had full faith in Indian civilization and culture, believed all religions to be true, believing in idolatry as well as a means of attaining eternal almighty God.
  • After the death of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa in 1886. Narendranath circulated his Guru's messages all around, dedicating his entire life to this task and retired from worldly life.
