Successor of Feroz Shah Tuglaq

Successor to Firoz

  • After Firoz, his grandson Tughlaq Shah ascended the throne by the name Gayasuddin Tughlaq II.
  • During the next five years after Ghiyasuddin, three rulers Abubakra, Muhammed Shah and Alauddin Sikandar Shah ascended the throne. Nasiruddin Mehmud (1394-1412 AD) ascended the throne in 1394 AD, the last ruler of the Tughlaq Dynasty.
  • During the reign of Sultan Nasiruddin, the great Mongol general of Central Asia, Timur, attacked India in 1398 AD.
