Schemes Run by State Government

There are various schemes run by the State Government for the conservation of energy. They are as follows:

Manohar Jyoti Yojana

  • To meet the lighting energy needs of the public, the scheme Manohar Jyoti provide LED based SPV home lights.
  • The scheme was launched in 2017 by the Chief Minister of Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar
  • Under the scheme, 2 LED luminary of 6 wa each, 1 LED tubelight of 9 watt, 1 DC ceili fan of 25 watt and 1 USB port of mobile charging are provided to each household.
  • ln this scheme, the Government is spending around Rs. 15000 per family. Around 16666 Manohar kits have been provided to people the state in the year 2019 - 20
