The area under High Yielding Varieties (HYVs) of wheat, paddy, maize and bajra was 97.6, 54.4, 88.0 and 98.4% respectively during the year 2012-13 whereas it is likely to be 97.8, 50.4, 90.0 and 99.4% respectively during the year 2013-14.
