Major Gurudwaras in Haryana

  • Gurudwara Mastgarh It was originally a mosque built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1630. It was converted into a Gurudwara much later after the matter was amicably settled after the independence.
  • It is located in Shahabad Markanda, 20 kilometers South of Ambala Cantonment along the Sher Shah Suri Margh.
  • Gurudwara Navin Patshahi It is situated in Kurukshetra. This Gurudwara is dedicated to the ninth Sikh Guru, Tegh Bahadur.
  • It is believed that the Guru stayed at this place for a while on his way to meet Aurangzeb in Delhi.
  • Gurudwara Kapal Mochan It is situated in Bilaspur of Yamunanagar district and is dedicated to Guru Gobind Singh. It is believed that the Guru stayed here for 52 days during his battle with kings of Northern hils. At this place Guru washed his weapons in Rinmochan Sarovar so the place is also called as Shastra Ghat.
