Interference And Diffraction of Sound
Interference of Sound :- When two sound waves of the same frequency or amplitude are simultaneously redistributed at some point to that sound energy. This phenomenon is called interference of sound.
Diffraction of Sound :- The wavelength of sound is of 1 meter. Therefore, when an obstacle of this category comes in the path of sound, turns from the edge of the barrier and moves forward. This phenomenon is called diffraction of sound. This is why the sound coming from outside reaches our ears by turning on the doors, windows, etc.
Tone :- The sound produced by simple periodic motion is called swarak.
Harmonics and Overtones :- The high frequency tones present in a vowel are called over Tone. When the frequency of hypersnsors are exact multiple of the original vowel, it is called by the name of harmonic.
