Seas Of The World: A sea is part of an ocean that is partially surTounded by land. If it is totally surrounded by land, then it's called an inland sea, for example, the Caspian Sea. There can be multiple seas within an ocean. According to some estimates, there are nearly one hundred big and small seas in the world. Some of the important seas of the world are:
