Number Between Square Numbers

Suppose there are two square numbers n2 and (n+1)2, then total numbers between these two squares are given by 2n.

Let’s say 42 and 52 are two squares.

42 = 16 and 52 = 25

We need to find the numbers present between 16 and 25

Here, n = 4

Therefore, total numbers between 16 and 25  = 24 = 2 x 4 = 8

Let us check  the numbers between 16 and 25 = 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24

As we can see, the numbers between 16 and 25 are 8. Therefore, the formula given above is applicable to all the squares.

Numbers Between large n^2 and large (n+1)^2  = 2n, where n is any natural number
